Tankers
Maneuverability on congested, tight streets. Strong, secure cab to get personnel to the fire safely. Low hose bed. Organized, well-thought-out storage for firefighting equipment. You need all this and more on your new engine. With a high volume of demanding fire calls, the pumper is the lifeline of the fire department. The City Pumper from FF1 meets these needs and more.
While a typical City Pumper has a 188” wheelbase and 30’-32’ overall length, this truck can be designed as short as 28’ with a 169” wheelbase. You pick what’s best for your response area.
Choose from a side or top mount pump panel. Water tanks are available in an L-shape for extra-low hose beds. The body is available in 96” or 102” width, with compartments as deep as 28”.
Like all Ferrara trucks from FF1, the construction is Heavy Duty. The Inferno, Igniter, and Cinder come standard with a 3/16” aluminum cab and body with the extruded aluminum subframe. If 12 gauge stainless steel is your preference, the Ultra cab may work for you
